Although every party is slightly different, here’s what you can expect.
The total length of the party is 1hour 40min (please make sure you put 15min early arrival time on the invites)

What happens after you book your party?

Make your payment and confirm numbers

  • Pay your 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking
  • Let us know if your numbers increase after you’ve booked by calling or emailing us ASAP so we can reserve activity spots (they are limited!)

On the week before your party

  • On the Monday before your party, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm final numbers and food extras
  • Final numbers and food extras need to be confirmed by 12pm on the Wednesday before your party
  • Final payment is required 24 hours before your party starts
  • If we haven’t heard back, we’ll follow up with an SMS reminder

Bringing Decorations?

Our rooms are fun and enough to create an awesome party feel! We allow balloons on weights and simple table decorations. Avoid bringing large props or items that stick to walls. There is minimal time to set up the room.

Note: parties are based on activity capacity limits. If you are looking at having more then 35-40 children attend, please send an enquiry to our team to discuss options.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is my deposit refundable?
    In order to secure your booking, you are required to place a 50% non-refundable deposit. Please read Terms and Conditions for further information.
  • Can I bring my own food?
    Unfortunately, we don't allow outside food into the venue. However, you are allowed to bring a Birthday Cake, Lolly Bags and one other desert item (eg. Cupcakes or Donuts etc)
  • I’m not sure of my numbers. What if my numbers decrease or increase? Do I have to pay for them?
    You MUST book for the Maximum - you'll be asked to confirm final amounts 3-4 days prior to your event. If numbers reduce from originally booked, they'll be removed from your booking.

    If your numbers increase after you’ve booked please email us at info@goclimb.com.au ASAP so we can reserve activity spots (they are limited!).

  • What allergies can you cater for?
    We cater for a range of allergies. You can see a detailed description of the allergy menu substitutes here.

    Our fryers contain contaminants of gluten, egg, dairy and sesame. Please consider if the child's allergy could be affected by this. Eg. chips are cooked in the same oil that items which contain gluten and/or egg.
    If the child isn’t your child, we recommend checking with the child's parents on what best suits their needs.
    If the allergy is extremely severe and we are unable to provide a safe meal for the child - you can bring a lunch box for the child with a safe meal for them.
  • I’ve got mixed ages. How do I make sure all kids are in an activity for their age group?
    We have you sorted! Please book all kids in for the same activity when booking (if unsure - book all for climbing as it's limited capsity). The week of the party- let us know how many children of each age / activity. We’ll then update accordingly.

    Eg.
    12x GoClimb Party (Hunger Buster) with Playzone
    3x GoPlay Party (Hunger Buster)
    2x Under 2

    Ages under 3 years old, please consider if they are going to eat a meal / sit at the table. You have the option to put them as a GENERAL ENTRY (Under 2 - $7.50 | Ages 2+ - $12.50) or GoPlay Party.
  • Can I add extra platters on the day?
    All platters, drink jugs and extras need to be pre-ordered.

    We can't guarantee the kitchen will have capacity and/or stock to provide any additoal platters on the day.
  • What if a child is scared to climb?
    They will still be encouraged to come out and join the party even if they just want to watch. We recommend adding on the Pre-booked $4pp play zone pass. This gives them an alternative activity as well as extended play after the party.

    Note: Unfortunately, refunds or credits are unable to be issued for children who choose not to climb.
  • Can I bring decorations?
    Our rooms are fun and enough to create an awesome party feel! We allow balloons on weights and simple table decorations. Avoid bringing large props or items that stick to walls. There is minimal time to set up the room.

    Large props and decorations may create safety issues - please do not bring any large props, arches, stands and/or balloon garlands.

    Note: You will incur a damage fee if items are stuck to the wall.
  • Can I have a certain room?
    Unfortunately, we don’t take room requests. All our party rooms are gender neutral. You’ll be allocated a room that comfortably fits all children (usually with a little leeway for parents). Rooms are allocated to the parties the week of the event once all bookings are confirmed.
  • Waivers
    If it’s a Climbing Birthday the waiver does need to be signed. You have a couple of options:

    Option 1 : Bring a list of children’s names on the day and sign ONE waiver on behalf of all children. We staple the list to the paper waiver.

    Option 2: Have all parents sign the Digital Waiver prior to arrival by sharing the link www.goclimb.com.au/waiver

    Option 3: Have each parent sign a paper waiver on arrival (this can take a while so the other options are preferred).
  • What dates are available?
    Click 'BOOK NOW' on the top right hand side of this page. Only avalible times will be viewable.
  • Can the kids use the playzone?
    Playzone is not included in the Climbing and Minigolf parties - it can be added on for $4pp if pre-booked ($8pp if added on the day). Children can use the playzone if they have a PLAYZONE pass or are booked into a GoPlay party.
  • Can I bring a cake?
    Yes! Please be mindful that if your cake contains frosting or icing we may not have any room in our fridges to store it. We of course try our very best to make room 😊
  • What time do people have to arrive?
    Please put 15min earlier to the booking time of your event for Climbing parties. This allows for time to check in, wristband and harnessing.

    We recommend the host arrives at 20min prior, just to arrive before your guests.

    Your room becomes available on the hour.
    Eg. Party booked for 1pm.
    Host arrival time: 12.40-45pm
    Invites start time: 12.45pm
    Room available at: 1pm
  • What’s included in a party?
    Your party includes:
    - Party Host
    - 1hr of your chosen activity (you can extend you stay by adding the $4pp pre-booked playzone)
    - 40min in a private party room
    - Digital invites
    - Plates, cups, cutlery, napkins and serving items (eg. tongs, knife)
    - Free Giant Slide for birthday child (climbing parties)
  • Can I reserve tables?
    Unfortunately, we don't reserve tables.
    If we feel your party room may be too small for a small number of adults who may be attending, our staff will make the call in reserving a table for the adults. This also varies on the number of platters ordered.
    Please remember all rooms are allocated to parties to comfortably fit the number of children booked in.

    If you have a large amount of adults attending - please enquire about Mezzanine Hire ($200 add-on for the duration of your event). *Subject to availability
  • What time do I put on my invites?
    For climbing parties, you must put 15min prior to the start time of the party. Eg. 2pm party = 1.45pm arrival time.

    Playzone and Minigolf parties starting time at the hour of the booking eg. 2pm = 2pm start time

    Any late arrivals will join into the party from the point it is running.

    All parties run for 1hr and 40min.
  • Can party attendees (adults, older siblings, cousins etc) participate in the activities?
    We highly recommend booking all participants into the activity at the time of booking. Our center and activities run on a capacity basis. If you believe that additional people may want to climb on the day it's extremely important this is pre-booked. We can't guarantee there will be spots available on or closer to the day.

    Would you like to add some extra climbing or minigolf passes on for extra guests? Please send us an email at info@goclimb.com.au with your existing booking number. Our team will add these on for you.
  • Mezzanine Hire
    Need a bigger space for the adults? Got 30+ kids? Have a spacious comfortable area for everyone!
    You can hire the mezzanine level (connected to a Party Room) for 2hrs ($200 on top of your total party price).

  • Pinata
    Unfortunately we don't allow pinata's to be hit in the venue and/or party rooms. Safety of all guests is out number one priority.
  • Can I set up a drinks TAB?
    Please set up your drinks tab with your party host or reception on arrival. We'll require a credit card or debit card to put in safe keeping as a security- but don't worry we won't change it until you are ready to finalise the tab.

    You can order drinks through your host or at the Cafe.
  • I just want to bring a group of friends but not have a birthday party
    We recommend a birthday party for participants of 8 or more.
